The town emblem is a stylized katakanaアA of Akkeshi. The circle symbolizes the town people’s reconciliation and collaboration, the triangle symbolizes the surge to the future and the three circles symbolize the agriculture-forestry, the fishery and the trade-manufacture. The swirl represents Akkeshi Bay.
