The flag of Arlington County and Arlington, Virginia, is a white background with two slim blue bars on the top and bottom with the county's logo placed in the center of the flag. The flag was adopted in 2022, replacing the former flag.

Symbolism[]

The flag of Arlington County is made only with the colors white and blue, the blue symolizes the Potomac River, which the county is located on. The logo symbolizes the location of the county, west of Alexandria, and south of Washington.

Former flag[]

The former and original flag of Arlington County was adopted in 1983. The flag was a plain yellow background with the county's former seal placed in the center of the flag. The seal got replaced in May 2007.[1]
