The flag of Aswan Governorate consists of a light blue background and in the centre of the flag, a yellow symbol. The symbol consists of a dotted line circle with a complete circle in it. Inside the inner circle, are two zig-zagged lines and above that, two power poles with electricity going out of the top of it.
The symbol originally comes from the coat of arms.
