The flag of Belen, New Mexico, is the sun symbol of the Zia people with a white four-pointed star in the top left corner, while in the lower right corner is the lettering "BELEN (Bethlehem)" and "Established 1740".

Yellow and red are the colors of the New Mexican state flag. The Zia sun symbol is also an element of that flag.

The flag scored 2.79, ranked 151st out of 312, and got a grade of a D- on the 2022 NAVA City Flag Survey, tied with Crossville, and ahead of Clovis.
