The Bennington flag had thirteen altering red-and-white horizontal stripes (six red stripes and seven white stripes, unlike the original U.S. flag) with a blue canton containing the number "76", and thirteen 7-pointed stars - 11 forming an arc over the "76", while the remaining two are on each top corner of the blue. It is a version of the American flag associated with the Battle of Bennington during the American Revolution.
