The bisexual pride flag is a pride flag with an unequal horizontal tricolor of magenta, purple, and blue. The magenta stripe takes up two fifths of the flag, the purple stripe takes up the middle fifth, and the blue stripe takes up the other two fifths. The flag was designed by Michael Page in 1998.
Symbolism[]
The magenta stripe represents attraction to the same sex, the blue stripe represents attraction to the opposite sex, and the purple stripe represents attraction to both sexes. The purple stripe is an “overlap” created from the magenta and blue stripes.
