The flag of Bulgaria is an equal horizontal tricolor with white at the top, green in the centre, and red at the bottom.
Symbolism[]
The white stands for peace, love and freedom. The green stands for the agricultural wealth of Bulgaria, and red is the struggle for independence for independence and military courage.[2] The flag's colors are borrowed from the Bulgarian coat of arms, minus yellow/gold.
