The flag of Bulgaria is an equal horizontal tricolor of white, green, and red.

Symbolism

The white stands for peace, love and freedom. The green stands for the agricultural wealth of Bulgaria, and red is the struggle for independence for independence and military courage. The flag's colors are borrowed from the Bulgarian coat of arms, minus yellow/gold.

Other flags

The ensign of the Bulgarian Navy contains a white background, with a red canton containing a golden lion. At the bottom of the flag, are two stripes of green and red. The jack of the navy contains a red cross over a green saltire.
