The flag of Chester, Vermont, is a yellow background with three black stripes from the hoist forming one black stripe to the fly. On the center, is a yellow lion holding a shield of the Earls of Chester.
Symbolism[]
The three stripes from the hoist symbolize the three branches of the Williams River, converging into one when it passes through the town. The lion comes from the Chandler family crest, who were the early settlers of the town.[1]

The flag reached 86th out of 312 on the 2022 NAVA City Flag Survey, with a score of 5.81 / a B, behind Sunderland and ahead of Folsom.
