The flag of College Place, Washington, is a blue background with a gold shape that looks like a hill sprouting two grains of wheat, over a white disc, with two white lines on the bottom.

Symbolism[]

The three white lines at the bottom represent the three tribes (Cayuse, Walla Walla, and Umatilla), and can also be seen as a reflection in a body of water. The golden leaves were taken from the shape of the Seventh-day Adventist logo and the seven leaves represent both the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the seven creeks in College Place. The curving blue and golden lines represent the Blue Mountains. The two stems of the golden leaves represent the public and Seventh-day Adventist school systems and connects the city’s values.[2]

2022 NAVA survey[]

The flag scored 6.37 / 61st out of 150, a B+ on the 2022 NAVA survey, behind Baldwin City, and tied with Peoria.
