The flag of Colorado Springs, Colorado, is a white background with a blue border on the top, right, and bottom. On the left side, is a diamond with a depiction of a sun setting down behind the mountains fimbriated in green.

Symbolism[]

The white field is intended to represent the cleanliness and health of the city, the blue border represent its' blue skies; the mountains stand for Pikes Peak and on it are pictured the gold ingots of our mining industries; the green band about the shield represents the park system surrounding the city.[1]

2004 NAVA Survey[]

The flag scored a total of 7.05, and ranked 19th on the 2004 NAVA City Flag Survey, behind Baltimore, and ahead of Fremont.
