A green flag with a white star and crescent, and two vertical white bars superimposed.

- Oppose. White and green colors, star and crescent — this flag takes too much from the flag of Algeria. I don't think Libyans would understand why they are supposed to borrow symbolism from their western neighbors. — Hellerick
