The flag of Folsom, California, are blue trapezoids on both the top and bottom of the flag with gold fimbriated on its' top, and forming black triangles to its' left and right.

Symbolism[]

The gold stripes represent the Gold Rush that was a huge part of the city’s founding and what made to what it is today. Those stripes overlap, which represents its' convergence of the past and the present, and they don't meet in the middle, but at the point, which makes the aspects come together at a central point. The black triangles represent Folsom Prison and its rich history, and the blue is representative of the waters.[1]

2022 NAVA survey[]

The flag reached 87th out of 312 on the 2022 NAVA City Flag Survey, with a score of 5.74 / a B-, behind Chester, and ahead of Moncks Corner.
