The flag of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, is divided between blue with yellow stars on a vertical pattern, and red with a full-white representation of the Union Jack.
Symbolism[]
The white Union Jack is actually a representation of the Lincoln Square, Gettysburg's "historic crossroads." The three stars represent the three days of the Battle of Gettysburg and the three wards into which the Borough is divided.[1]
The federal colors of red, white and blue denote Gettysburg's significance in United States history. The blue field with the gold stars denotes the Pennsylvania state colors.[1]
