The flag of Gilford, New Hampshire, are thirteen stripes of red and blue, with a white canton and thirteen blue eight-pointed stars. The flag is known as the "Guilford Courthouse" flag, owned by the courthouse of the same name in North Carolina, and it was unofficial, until Darren Brown discovered it, and made his own.[1]

Proposed flag[]
The proposed flag of Gilford, New Hampshire, consists of a upside-down white V-shape across the entire flag, with the bottom triangle being green, and the two top triangles being gold and blue.
Symbolism[]
The green is for the spruce forests, the white is for the snowy mountains, the blue is for Lake Winnipesaukee (which runs through Gilford) and sailing, and gold is for the craftmanship labour and agriculture.[2]
