The flag of Green River, Utah, is a blue background with an orange shape above three wavy lines of green. On the charge, is a white six-pointed star split by a blue six-pointed star.

Symbolism[]

The orange shape is the Book Cliffs, which defines the town's landscape, the three wavy lines represent the city's melons and the river its' named after, the blue skies represent its' climate and its' bright future. The star is split by the crossroads of river, rail, and road, referencing the town's identity as a waypoint, and the sections radiating from the center also give tribute to the missile base of the past.[1]

The flag reached 73rd out of 312 on the 2022 NAVA City Flag Survey, with a score of 6.14 / a B, behind Salisbury, and ahead of Provo.
