The flag of Henderson, Nevada, has a plain blue background with white writing with "Henderson Nevada" along the top, a torch in center of flag, and with "Flamma Industriae" (Flame of Industry) written beneath.
History[]
In 1954, the City of Henderson sponsored a contest for a design of a city flag. The City invited students from Basic High School to enter the competition and design a flag which would represent the City. On August 2, 1954, Mr. David Stevenson presented the new design to the City Council and it was adopted.
