Not to be confused with the city in Schleswig-Holstein. |
The flag of Kiel, Wisconsin, contains 4 different flags in different quarters: the flag of Germany in the top left, the flag of Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein in the top right, the flag of Wisconsin in the bottom left, and the civil flag of Schleswig-Holstein in the bottom right. In the center is a purple disc with the word "KIEL", the flag of the United States, the abbreviation "WI", and the year "1854". The lettering inside the disc are all in white. The flag is apparently not flown outside the Kiel City Hall, but is certainly displayed by the Kiel Area School District.
