The flag of Laredo, Texas, is a segmentation between a vertical red stripe and two horizontal stripes, one white and one black. The red stripe has three white five-pointed stars equidistant from each other.
Symbolism[]
The flag's field division is based on the state flag of Texas, only with three stars.
History[]
The flag was originally the flag of the Republic of the Rio Grande, with Laredo serving as its capital. When the republic disbanded and Texas took control, Laredo kept the flag to remember it by.
