The flag of Leesburg, Virginia, is four rectangles, two red and two blue. In the red rectangle is a checkerboard of blue and yellow, and in the blue rectangle is a flower.
The flag was officially adopted on September 14, 2008, and designed by Mitch Burrill and an anonymous designer.

Starting in 2003, Leesburg had start putting into consideration a flag, with multiple proposals sent to the town. On August 4, 2008, a contest had started in Leesburg to design and decide the new town flag.[1]
The flag contest lasted throughout all of August 2008, and the results were unveiled on September 14, 2008. The current flag was the design chosen for the 250th anniversary of the town.[2]
