The flag of Long Beach, California, is divided between yellow and blue, divided by a white line. On the yellow part, is a picture of the city's seal in a white circle, and the words "City of Long Beach" on the blue part.

Symbolism[]

The gold color is for the sand of the city’s eight-mile beach, the white represents the city’s clear, clean air, and the blue is for the ocean. The seal uses the metaphor of a goddess blessing and protecting the arts, recreation, commerce, and industry of the city.[1]

Before 2020, the flag had lighter colors, contains the inner version of the seal, the text "CITY OF LONG BEACH" in all uppercase, and the word "THE INTERNATIONAL CITY".

As of right now, it is still recognized as the official city flag on Wikipedia.
