The flag of Manteo, 
North Carolina, is a white field with a red Saint George's Cross going through the center of the flag. The flag is identical and inspired by the English flag.

The flag is the English flag, which was adopted due to the fact that Manteo was the location of the former Roanoke colony, the first English settlement in North America.
