The flag of Maryville, Tennessee is a dark blue background with two sets of mirrored "M's" crossing each other in the center of the flag. One "M" set is white (vertical) and the other is red (horizontal). The flag was officially adopted by the Maryville City Council on September 23, 1975, and the design was chosen in a competition format held during the Bicentennial of the United States, as the city did not have an official flag before. The winning design was created by Ken Bright from London, England.
