The unofficial flag of Mesa, Arizona, is blue with a stylized golden mesa on the bottom of the flag. In the center of the flag is a golden disc with a blue border, with a stylized blue cactus in the center of the disc. Coming from the upper half of the disc are nine golden stylized rays.
As of 2015, the flag is not flown anywhere in the city.
Symbolism[]
Blue represents sky and gold represents the warm climate of Arizona. The cactus in the symbol is a "saguaro cactus", a prized symbol of Arizona.
