The flag of New Hampshire, United States, is blue with the state seal of New Hampshire, stylized, in the center of the flag. Circling the state seal are nine golden stars, spaced equally. In between the stars are stylized golden laurel leaves, and together, with the stars, they form a golden wreath.
Symbolism[]
The state seal of New Hampshire represents the state of New Hampshire itself. The symbolism of the blue background is currently unknown, most likely a trend with other U.S. states. The nine stars represent New Hampshire becoming the 9th state of the United States. Laurel is a symbol of New Hampshire.
