The flag of Niger consists of three equal horizontal bands of orange (top), white, and green with a small orange disk (representing the sun) centered in the white band; similar to the flag of India, which has a blue spoked wheel centered in the white band.[3]
Vexilollogists typically depict the flag of Niger as having an aspect ratio of 6:7. In practice, flags with aspect ratios of 2:3, 3:5, or 1:2 are often used. No information about which aspect ratios is officially preferred is available.
