The flag of Norte de Santander.
The flag would have the same proportions as the Colombian flag and would be made up of two horizontal stripes of equal length, the upper one in red and the lower in black, with four stars that form a rhombus, one in the center of each band, and the other two on the line that divides the colors.

Red represents heroism. Black represents oil.
4 Yellow Stars: Symbolyzes the three segregated provinces of the Department of Santander to create the Department of North Santander: Cúcuta, Pamplona and Ocaña, the remaining, upper, indicates the North as a cardinal point representing the geographical situation of the department.
