The flag of Río Negro Province, is a tricolor of blue, white and green. At the hoist, is a black square with thirteen stars.
Color symbolism[]
According to its' author, blue represents justice, water resources such as lakes in the mountains, rivers and irrigation canals, white represents union, green represents the hope and the wealth of the land with agricultural-livestock production, the Andean forests and valleys, and black represents the fact that Rio Negro means "black river" in Spanish. The 13 stars symbolize the departments of the province.
