Flag of the United Republic of Transmania
Adopted September 10, 1971
Designed by Ivor Heinz
Proportions 1:2

The flag of the United Republic of Transmania has the black, white and red background, with the Union Jack in the canton with a white Canadian Maple Leaf in the corner of the flag.

Symbolism[edit | edit source]

The Union Jack represents the United Kingdom and the Toronto Maple Leaf also represents Canada, which The United Republic of Transmania once was also a territory of. The red, white and black are the strong colours of Europe, of which many Transmanians' ancestors came from. White represents the hardship of the Transmanians struggling for independence, black represents the colour of the house which is the home for the prime minister or president (like The White House), and red represents the ensign.

History[edit | edit source]

The previous flag of this country was and is often called "The Red Ensign".
