The flag of San Marino is an equal horizontal bicolour of white and light blue, with the Sammarinese national coat of arms in the centre of the flag.
Symbolism[]
The white represents the snow on top of Titano, San Marino's tallest mountain, and the blue represents the sky above the nation. [3][4] They also represent peace and liberty.[5]
Coat of Arms[]
The three towers on the coat of arms represent the Three Towers of The Country located on three peaks around the capitol. The crown is for sovereignty, and the motto at the bottom says "LIBERTY".[5]
