The flag of Spokane, Washington, comprises a sun in the canton on a white-and-green field separated by a stylized blue river. The flag was adopted in 2021 and is the fourth to be used by the city government.
Blue, green, yellow, and white are some of the colors of the Washington flag. The yellow sun represents the "Children of the Sun" - the city name meaning from the Spokane Indians (not the baseball team). The blue lines represent its eponymous Spokane River.
