The flag of The Bahamas is an equal horizontal tricolour of turquoise, yellow, and turquoise, with a black pile.
Symbolism[]
The turquoise represents the Caribbean Sea. The yellow represents the Bahamas' tropical climate. Black represents the "strength, vigour and force" of the Bahamian people.

The civil ensign and jack, naval and government ensigns, all use the national flag of the Bahamas in the canton, on different colored fields, with different colored crosses. The civil ensign is red with a white cross, the civil jack's in the form in a swallowtail, the naval jack is white over a red cross, and the government ensign's cross is blue.
The flag of the prime minister is the national flag of the Bahamas, with a gold parliamentary mace[3] on the fly.
