The flag of The Heights, Cincinnati, is a red background with a white depiction of McMicken Hall (part of the University of Cincinnati).
Symbolism[]
The McMicken Hall depiction symbolizes the University of Cincinnati and its' prominence of its' main campus in the neighborhood, and its' high angle of its' tower alludes to the neighborhood's upward incline and the university's position on top of a hill. The white is for the institution of higher education, and red is one of the university's colors.[1]
Proposed flag[]
This was a flag proposal (or prototype) of The Heights, found in a photo at an article on CityBeat. The flag features a gray circle at the back of the tower of McMicken Hall.
