The flag of Togo consists of five equal horizontal stripes alternating green and yellow. The flag has a square canton that is coloured red, and has the width and length of three stripes. In the centre of the square is a white five-pointed star.
Symbolism[]
The white star represents Togolese hope and purity. Green presents the agriculture of the nation, and yellow represents Togo's mineral wealth. [3]
