The flag of Vaupés.
It consists of two equal horizontal stripes, the upper one being white, as a symbol of the purity of the aborigines; and the lower one in green, representing the jungle and the natural resources of the department. In the center of the flag is a rubber sheet, a product whose exploitation has marked the history of the department.
