VexiWiki is an online flag encyclopedia and wiki. If you would like to join us, you can go to VexiWiki:Welcome.

The goal of VexiWiki is to provide a reliable and easy-to-understand flag encyclopedia and community that anyone can edit.

The name "VexiWiki" is dervied from the prefix vexillo- (meaning flag-related) and wiki (a website format that members can edit, or in this wiki's case, that anyone can edit).

VexiWiki was founded on September 2, 2007, by FlagFreak at the Wikia Requests site.

After VexiWiki was approved by Angela, and was being set up, FlagFreak quickly designed the first VexiWiki flag incorporating a chevron design to represent the letter V.

At the end of 2008, a design on the VexiWiki design page was supported by many users, and was later adopted on the first day of 2009. This is the flag in our logo today.

First article[]

The first article was about the flag of Libya, because of its simple design that made it easy to write about.
