The flag of Waco, Texas, is a navy blue background with two light blue stripes on the top and bottom, and the city's "Flying W" logo in the center. It was adopted on February 20, 2024 by the Waco City Council.[1]

Former flag[]

The former flag of Waco, Texas, featured a white silhouette of a bridge, over a red sky and blue waters, with the city's name at the top. It was adopted in 1985, and was designed by Gwen Stewart.[2] The flag was relinquished on February 20, 2024.
Symbolism[]
No other symbolism was found for the flag, but the red, white and blue, are the colors of both Texas and the United States, and the bridge featured in the flag, is the Waco Suspension Bridge.
