The flag of Westchester County, New York, is an orange-over-blue horizontal division with a large white triangle spanning the hoist. Likely inspired by the early Dutch tricolor, it includes "Westchester County, New York" in white on the blue stripe, a blue emblem on the triangle, and encircling stars.[1]

Symbolism[]

The colors of the flag are deep orange, blue, and white, which are the same colors from the Princevlag. The emblem on the pile is based on the seal, with 25 stars surrounding it.
